As an ENFJ (the protagonist), I view the ENFP (the candidate) with admiration and curiosity. The ENFP is energetic and exuberant, always bringing endless creativity and surprises. Their imaginative mind constantly finds interesting things in life and is full of visions for the future. Such qualities deeply attract me because I, too, long to make an impact on the world, and the ENFP brings even more inspiration and possibility. Spending time with the ENFP is always filled with fun and change. They do not cling to tradition and are always willing to challenge the status quo, injecting life with vitality. I admire their free spirit and even envy their casual and unrestrained nature. They easily adapt to new environments and form connections with different people, which shows their exceptional social skills. However, I have also found that the ENFP’s tendency to overlook details and their impulsive nature can sometimes unsettle me. As an ENFJ, I am used to making plans and hope that everything goes as expected, while the ENFP might change plans due to sudden new ideas, leaving me occasionally unprepared. I hope to lead the ENFP in making dreams come true rather than merely remaining in the realm of imagination. Moreover, I have noticed that the ENFP sometimes tends to avoid negative emotions, whereas I prefer to delve deep into problems and seek solutions. This may lead to some friction in our communication, but if we can find balance, I believe we can grow together and become better versions of ourselves.

However, at times I feel that ENFJs focus too much on the needs of others and neglect their own emotional needs. They always try to be the ‘pillar’ for everyone, but sometimes I wish they could relax a little and not impose so much pressure on themselves. While their planning and sense of responsibility are admirable, I sometimes feel somewhat confined because I prefer exploring spontaneously and do not like being over-planned. Overall, I believe that ENFJ and I are complementary. They provide me with a clearer direction, and I, in turn, can bring them more inspiration and energy. We both love communicating with people and are full of passion for the world; if we can find the right balance, I believe we can become each other’s best partners.
